Set up two-factor authentication
Add a TOTP authenticator to your account — Google Authenticator, 1Password, etc.
Enable TOTP
Open Security → Two-factor authentication. Click Enable 2FA. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app, or type the manual secret key.
- Click Enable 2FA — a QR code and manual key appear
- Scan the QR or paste the key in your authenticator app
- Type the 6-digit code your app shows
- Click Verify & Enable
Recovery codes
After enabling, we show a one-time set of recovery codes. Copy or download them and store them somewhere safe — they are how you get back in if you lose the authenticator.
We do not store the plaintext codes. If you lose both your authenticator and your recovery codes, contact us — we will need to verify your identity.
