AI privacy — what we send & don't send

Never sent to AI

GreenHired strips these fields from every AI prompt server-side, before the call leaves our worker:

• Your full name
• Your email address
• Your phone number
• Your resume PDF / CV file
• Your account ID
• Your IP address

Sent to AI (only when you click a button)

These professional details are sent so the model can produce useful output:

• Your professional headline
• Your current role title
• Your years of experience
• Your skills list (up to 25)
• Your target green sectors
• Your bio (PII auto-redacted)
• The job title, company name and description for the role you're applying to (these are already public)

Caching policy

Match scores are cached for 24 hours per (you, job) pair so repeated visits don't burn API tokens. The cache is keyed on your user ID — nobody else can read it. Cached values are deleted when you update your profile or after 24h, whichever is first.

Right to delete

Delete your account on /seeker/security and every AI cache entry tied to your account is wiped within 24 hours. Usage log rows referencing your user ID are kept for 90 days for security/abuse monitoring, then purged.
