About the role
Archangel Lightworks Ltd is seeking an Optical Systems Engineer with experience in optical design and assembly, integration, and test.
What you will do
- Define requirements for optical systems.
- Perform modelling and trade studies to inform design selection.
- Conduct optical design and analysis using Zemax or similar software for design, optimisation, and tolerancing.
- Gain experience with sequential and non-sequential optical design.
- Engage in hands-on aspects of optical systems development.
What you need
- Experience in optical design.
- Experience in assembly, integration, and test of optical systems.
- Experience defining requirements for optical systems.
- Experience performing modelling and trade studies.
- Optical design and analysis experience using Zemax or similar software.
- Experience with sequential and non-sequential optical design is desirable.
About the role
Contract: Full-time
Salary: £33,000 - £69,000 per year
Location: North Hinksey Village, Oxford, GB
