General Manager

We are looking for an inspiring, strategic and inclusive leader to become the next General Manager for the Carmarthenshire & Ceredigion Property Group. This is a rare opportunity to lead a diverse portfolio of places across Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion. From the historic landscapes of Dinefwr and Llanerchaeron, to the UK's only known Roman gold mine at Dolaucothi and the spectacular coastline of Ceredigion, the portfolio represents a significant part of the National Trust's work in the region.

What you will do

• Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of properties.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for the region.
• Inspire and manage a team of staff and volunteers.
• Ensure the conservation and presentation of historic landscapes and sites.
• Engage with local communities and stakeholders.

What you need

• Proven leadership and management experience.
• Strategic planning and decision-making skills.
• Experience in managing heritage or conservation sites is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for heritage and conservation.

About the role

Salary: £60,000 per annum.
