About the role
The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for maintaining Utility Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
What you will do
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on BESS installations.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Perform risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) before commencing work.
- Promote a strong safety culture and report hazards, incidents, and near misses.
- Always work in accordance with UK health and safety legislation, company procedures, and site-specific requirements.
What you need
- Understanding of health, safety, and compliance in a field service role.
- Experience with electrical safety standards and LOTO procedures.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and method statements.
