About the role
We are recruiting on behalf of an established environmental services organisation providing waste management and recycling solutions across the UK. They are looking for a hands-on Environmental & Waste Site Team Leader.
What you will do
- Lead a team on-site, ensuring efficient waste management and recycling operations.
- Oversee daily activities, including waste sorting, processing, and dispatch.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.
- Maintain site safety standards and promote a culture of environmental responsibility.
- Manage resources and equipment effectively.
What you need
- Experience in a similar leadership role within waste management or environmental services.
- Knowledge of waste management processes and recycling techniques.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations.
- Excellent team leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hands-on operational environment.
About the role
This is a full-time, permanent position working 40 hours per week, with additional shift cover as required. The role is based in Gloucester.
