About the role

We are recruiting for an experienced Environmental Health Officer / Enforcement Officer to join a busy Wembley-based Local Authority on an ongoing temporary basis. Working as an Environmental Health Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with food and health and safety legislation.

What you will do

Enforce food safety and health and safety legislation.
Conduct inspections and investigations.
Respond to public enquiries and complaints.
Prepare reports and take appropriate enforcement action.

What you need

Experience as an Environmental Health Officer or similar enforcement role.
Knowledge of food safety and health and safety legislation.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Hours: 36 hours per week
Contract: Ongoing Temporary Assignment
Start Date: Immediate Start
Pay Rate: £23.81 per hour PAYE / £31.35 per hour Umbrella
