Intellectual Property Notice – GreenHired

How GreenHired handles trademarks, copyright, user-generated content and reports of IP infringement.

1 Ownership of the Service

GreenHired is a global green and sustainability job board operated by Vaan Corporation. All rights in and to the GreenHired platform and related services are owned or licensed by Vaan Corporation.

This includes, without limitation:

  • The GreenHired and Vaan Corporation names, logos, trademarks, and service marks.
  • The website and application design, layout, user interface, and underlying software.
  • Text, graphics, illustrations, icons, images, and other content created by or for GreenHired (excluding user-generated content and third‑party content).
  • Except where expressly allowed by written agreement or applicable law, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on the GreenHired platform or its proprietary content.

2 User‑generated content

Job seekers and recruiters may upload or submit content such as profiles, resumes, cover letters, job descriptions, company profiles, messages, and feedback (collectively, “User Content”).

You retain any rights you have in your own User Content.

By submitting User Content, you grant GreenHired a limited licence to use, host, display, reproduce, and process that content as necessary to provide and improve the Service, as described in the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring that your User Content does not infringe the rights of others or violate applicable law.

3 Aggregated and third‑party content

GreenHired may display job listings and related information that are aggregated from publicly available sources or provided by third‑party partners.

Such aggregated or third‑party content remains the property of the original source or rights holder.

GreenHired displays this content with attribution where appropriate and may provide “Apply” links that direct users to the original site.

GreenHired does not claim ownership of third‑party trademarks, logos, or content used for identification or informational purposes on the platform.

4 “All rights reserved”

Unless expressly stated otherwise, all rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by Vaan Corporation.

You may not use any GreenHired or Vaan Corporation trademarks, logos, or branding in any manner that is likely to cause confusion or implies sponsorship or endorsement without our prior written permission.

5 Reporting IP infringement (DMCA‑style)

If you believe that content on GreenHired infringes your intellectual property rights, you can submit a notice to our designated contact so that we can review and, where appropriate, remove or restrict access to the content.

Your notice should, at minimum:

  • Identify the work you believe has been infringed.
  • Identify the material on GreenHired that you believe is infringing, with sufficient detail for us to locate it.
  • Provide your name, contact information, and a statement that you have a good‑faith belief that the use is not authorised.
  • Include a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, where applicable, that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf.
  • Send notices to the contact details provided on our contact or legal pages. We may request additional information or documentation before taking action.

6 Permitted use and API / scraping restrictions

You may use the GreenHired platform and its content solely for personal job search or genuine recruitment purposes, in line with the Terms of Service.

Unless expressly allowed in a written agreement or documented API, you may not:

  • Systematically harvest, scrape, or copy data from GreenHired.
  • Use automated tools or bots to access or query the Service, except as permitted through official APIs or feeds.
  • Any unauthorised use may result in suspension or termination of access and may also lead to legal action.
